Having an expert guide is essential to an exciting, safe, memorable rain forest jungle adventure. Warrio, a native of the island of Bastimentos, provides private small tours to groups of up to twenty people, ensuring safety and the opportunity to see the best nature has to offer in Panama.

Details and Policies

Tour prices are as follows:

Private tour 1-3 people $160, 4-8 people $40 per person, 9-13 people $30 per person

You will be met at your hotel or at a meeting place in town.  Hotel pick up is free in Bocas town.  Additional cost for pick up at hotels outside of Bocas town.  Some hotels cannot be accessed by boat.

Pick up at Red Frog is $20 additional charge for your group( one way, add additional $20 for return)

24 hour advance reservation required along with 50% deposit of the total cost of tour (ex. tour cost $160, deposit of $80).  In case of severe weather deposit will be refunded, if guests do not show deposit is retained by Amazing Jungle Tours

Lunch is included in the tour.  Please let us know if you have food allergies or dietary restrictions.  Lunch includes juice and chips/snacks.  Bring your own water and sunscreen.

Jungle and Beach Adventure

Jungle hike through second growth and primary forest.  Learn about medicinal plants and the rich cultural history of this Caribbean paradise, view wildlife, taste local fruits.  Hike is approximately 2 hours.  Spend the rest of your time relaxing and eating lunch on a secluded tropical beach. (Approximate tour time 4 to 5 hours).

Dolphin Bay Preserve Adventure

The Dolphin Bay Preserve Eco-Tour is unlike any other tour in Bocas Del Toro! Go beyond dolphin viewing, jungle hiking, and snorkeling and experience nature like never before! This is your chance to taste the fruit of cacao fresh from the pod, get close enough to touch poison dart frogs, caimans and sea urchins, and learn about the rich socioeconomic and cultural history of Bocas Del Toro. We start with a trip to view wild dolphins, hike a private reserve, have lunch under over 100 year old trees, and snorkel our private pristine reef.(Approximate time 4 hours). Note: Warrio Powell is the only guide authorized to give this particular tour as this a private protected preserve.

Bat Cave River Wildlife Adventure

Tour a beautiful river by boat where you will see abundant wildlife, take a short hike through the jungle to a large bat cave where you will be given flashlights to explore this large cave that is home to many species of bats (additional $10 per person National Park fee).

Night Time Turtle Viewing

Hike secluded beach in National Park with a good chance of seeing giant leatherback and hawksbill turtles laying eggs.  Tour leaves at 5 pm and returns around 10 pm.  Please eat dinner before trip, bring water and snacks and repellant.  4 person minimum and cost is $50 per person (includes National Park fee).
