Dolphin Bay Hideaway

Dolphin Bay Hideaway is a small eco-friendly, family-run lodge that will offer a wonderful and unique opportunity to experience the archipelago of Bocas del Toro. The Hideaway is located on the shores of Dolphin Bay, one of the top destinations of the area to observe dolphins living and playing in their natural environment. The lodge is close enough to “civilization” for an easy 25 minute boat transfer yet far enough to be able to detach.
Enjoy being immersed in the sounds and beauty of a simple life in harmony with nature.

The lodge offers only four beautifully decorated rooms with private bathrooms. Our deliberate efforts to keep our lodge small, assures minimized impact on our environment and maintains a respectful balance with our local community. Our size also allows us to keep the atmosphere and service very personalized for our guests’ individual needs.
Our meals are prepared with an eclectic style of Panamanian and international cuisine, customized to our guest’s specific diets and preferences. We strive to use mostly organically grown, fresh, local ingredients.

Besides our very comfortable rooms and delicious meals, we offer a great selection of tours and activities covering all of the Bocas del Toro destinations. On our excursions we only take a maximum of eight guests to minimize our impact on the areas visited and maximizing your experience. Some of the destinations you might want to consider are:
Cayos Zapatillas, Red Frog Beach, Bahia Honda’s bat cave, Cerutty Cacao Farm, Bocas del Drago, Bird Island, indigenous villages, Long Beach, Bluff beach and many others. In addition, we offer guided jungle hikes, horse back riding, and snorkeling in a variety of locations including Cayo Coral.

If relaxation is the main purpose of your vacation, we have a wonderful veranda up at the main house or a rancho over the water with lots of hammocks and chairs to enjoy your favorite book or an afternoon siesta. At night, we are a perfect location for stargazing and enjoying the light-show put on by the bio-luminescent algae in the bay and fireflies dancing about in the air.

Our rate vary depending on the room and style. We offer two rooms with four posted king size beds and two with Queen beds. Three of the rooms have bay view and one looks on to our beautiful garden. Price range between U.S. $125 – $160

Rates are per room up to double occupancy and they include:

• Breakfast – selection of fruit, home made granola, various different cooked options such as eggs, pancakes and others, coffee, tee and fresh fruit juice
• Dinner – selection includes fish, diverse seafood, chicken and vegetarian meals prepared with the freshest, mostly local, organic ingredients.
• Beverages – including soft drinks, juice, coffee and tea
• Beer or wine – with a limit of 3 per person per day
• Transportation – to and from Bocas on your arrival and departure
• Dolphin watching tour
• Canoe or dugout use

• Coconuts – all you can drink during your stay
